SheetWorks Overview
(Jump to Brochure Request)
SheetWorks for Unfold is a high-end Sheet Metal CAD solution which enhances and extends sheet metal design capability. SheetWorks runs on the SolidWorks engine and is designed by engineers with an expert knowledge of the sheet metal industry. The package includes a Material Library with bend deduction values and design rules, a Press Brake Tooling Library and special form shape creation and insertion functions. With SheetWorks the user can develop individual sheet metal parts from a solid model, while maintaining assembly/subassembly relationships.
Import any 3-D solid, ParaSolid, Step, IGES, ACIS, or SolidWorks compatible file and automatically apply material definition allowing for quick accurate unfolding of any file. Powerful orthographic capabilities allow the creation of sheet metal parts from multiple 2-D views.
Version 11 New Features
Auto Define Views
Imports orthographic views from DXF/DWG and automatically creates a solid model.
Structural Member/Function Auto Creates Drawings
In Structural Member, sections of structural steel can be registered in advance so that the models can be created simply by applying that section to wire frames.
Circle Hole Modification Function
Circle holes in the model recognized by Analyze Shapes can be modified and their sizes deleted.
Output Product Composition
Composition information of an assembly model can be output to AP100US Product Management (SDD), Data for Estimation (MDB) and Part component file (ORC).
Convert DXF Unfold Drawings
Create 3D from an unfold DXF drawing data in batch mode.
Insert Hole Dimensions
